My technique is acrylic painting and technique of mixing pigments with real gold 99.99%! Gold leaf is gold forged into thin sheets by gold processing, which is often used for gilding. Gold leaf is available in a large number of carats and shades. The most commonly used 22 carat yellow gold. Gold leaf is a type of metal sheet, but the term is rarely used in reference to gold leaf.
